IIT Ropar to conduct walk-in interviews for PhD programme 2023 admissions

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is all set to conduct walk-in interviews for PhD programme admissions.

Admissions are open for PhD programmes at IIT Ropar. Interested candidates who are recipients of external fellowships (CSIR/UGC-JRF/BET-JRF/INSPIRE/NBHM or any other national fellowship) are only eligible to apply. 

Admissions are open at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Chemistry, Department of Mathematics, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and Department of Physics.

IIT Ropar PhD Admissions: Eligibility Requirement 

M.Tech./M.E/M.D. or equivalent or M.Sc./MBA/M.A./M.B.B.S. or equivalent or B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent four years program with 60% marks or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale, 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale, and candidates must have External Fellowship (CSIR/UGC-JRF/BET-JRF/INSPIRE/NBHM or any other national fellowship).

Procedure for payment of application fee through SB collect

1. Go to https://www.onlinesbi.com/

2. Select SB collect.

3. Tick the terms and conditions and continue.

4. Select state - Punjab.

5. Select educational institute - I I T Ropar (Type I I T Ropar after giving space in each letter of IIT).

6. Select the option for the payment category.

7. Pay the requisite fee.

One application fee is valid for a single application. The application fee is non-refundable. To know in detail about the interview dates, candidates should read Admission Brochure.
