JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024 Round 1 Choice Filling Starts; Mock Seat Allotment on July 7
JAC Chandigarh counselling round 1 starts today. The choice filling window is open at jacchd.admissions.nic.in. Candidates have to login with their JEE Main 2024 application number and password to enter the choices.
The Joint Admission Committee Chandigarh (JAC) has initiated the first round of counselling for JAC Chandigarh. Candidates must complete the choice filling by July 6, with mock counselling results scheduled for July 7 on the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can lock their choices from July 8 to July 9.
All registered candidates must prioritize their preferred institutes and branches for both Engineering and Architecture streams if eligible for both. Candidates solely eligible for Architecture under JEE (Main) 2024 need only select one choice automatically considered for CCA upon registration. There's flexibility for candidates to add, reorder, or delete choices until they finalise and lock their selections.
JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024 Round 1: Choice Locking & Printing of Locked Choices
Candidates participating in the JAC Chandigarh counselling must finalize and lock their choices before the specified deadline. Once choices are locked, candidates will need to follow a sequence including entering their password and confirming their selection. Candidates must ensure they complete all steps accurately to secure their choices. If a candidate fails to lock their choices explicitly by the deadline, the system will automatically lock the last saved choices. Locked choices can be viewed but cannot be modified thereafter.
During JAC Chandigarh Counselling, all candidate choices will be processed centrally, and seat allotment results will be published on the website. Candidates who receive an allotment must pay the seat acceptance fee and indicate their willingness for upgradation in subsequent rounds. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat, and the candidate will not be considered for further rounds, except for Special and Spot Rounds of Counselling. The round 1 seat allotment result will be out on July 10.
