The above prediction is based on the previous year's trends of the JEE Main answer key released by the exam conducting authority, NTA, on January 23 last year. In 2019, JEE Main was concluded on January 12 and after 11 days the official answer key was available for the candidates who appeared in the exam. Basis that as the January session is going to be over today, the NTA will try to release the JEE Main 2020 answer key within 10 days.

Candidates must keep in mind that the Agency will release the provisional answer key on the official website of JEE Main 2020 before announcing the final answer key. The provisional answer key will allow candidates to raise objections by submitting a valid proof against the official answer along with a fee of Rs 1,000 for every objection. The provisional JEE Main answer key will likely be released five-day before the official one i.e. by January 15.

With the JEE Main 2020 answer key, the NTA will also inform candidates about the questions (if any) for attempting which the Agency will offer candidates full marks. It has been done for the wrong questions in the JEE Main exam paper.
