JEE Main 2020 Student Reaction & Review (Paper 2)
JEE Main 2020 Student Reaction & Review (Paper 2)- NTA (National Testing Agency) is conducting JEE Main 2020 January session for BArch/ BPlan courses on January 6 in two shifts. The first (morning) shift for JEE Main BArch and BPlan paper was held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the second (evening) shift is being conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Most of the test takers that Shiksha spoke to, said that the paper was easy to moderate. Below is the JEE Main 2020 Student Reaction & Review for Paper 2.
One of the test takers, Zarina Batool shared that the paper was very easy. However, the questions in the mathematics section were tricky but she did manage to solve all the questions. According to her, the drawing section was the easiest of the three sections in JEE Main BArch paper.
Another JEE aspirant, Shital shared the same experience. According to her, the paper was pretty easy to crack, especially the drawing section. As the exam pattern was different from the previous year, she had a tough time solving the questions in the mathematics section followed by general aptitude. However, the drawing section was the best of all.
Another aspirant, Pilakshi who was taking the paper for the second time shared that the paper was moderately easy than JEE Main 2019 paper 2. The general aptitude section was easy to moderate in comparison to the other questions. Adding more he said βThe drawing section was the easiest to solve.
Another aspirant, Kunal Singh, the question paper was difficult. Mathematics was of a high standard. Aptitude Test was easy. Planning questions were less. could not take up many questions from the other two sections as he was stuck with the difficult questions. The performance in the drawing section was not up to the mark as his drawing skills are not good.
According to the JEE Main exam pattern, BArch paper comprises three sections - Aptitude, Mathematics and Drawing. The exam was of 3 hours duration. For each correct answer, candidates will get +4 marks and for any question answered incorrectly, one mark will be deducted. The total marks of JEE Main BArch are 400 marks with the drawing section being 100 marks (2 questions of 50 marks each) Last year there were 3 questions for drawing section.
