JEE Main 2023 application correction window closes today

Those who have filled the JEE Main application form 2023 can modify their particulars in the online application form of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 till 9 pm.  

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 Session 2 today. Those who have filled the JEE Main application form 2023 can modify their particulars by visiting the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can make corrections in their JEE Main 2023 application form till 9 pm.  

The official notice read, “National Testing Agency is in receipt of numerous representations from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 2. In view of the above and in the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 2.” 

It further read, “All the registered candidates for the said Examination are advised to visit the website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective Application Form, if required as per the Annexures.”  

The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 14 March 2023 (up to 9 pm). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI (up to 11:50 pm) on 14 March 2023, the notice said.  

How to edit JEE Main 2023 application form?  

Candidates can make changes in the JEE Main 2023 application form for Session 2 by following the steps mentioned below.  

• Visit the official wesbite – jeemain.nta.nic.in.  
• Click on the link ‘JEE(Main) 2023 Session 2 Application’ under Candidate Activity.  
• Sign in with the JEE Main application number and password.  
• Edit the JEE Main 2023 application form and submit. 

What changes can be made in JEE Main application form 2023?

Mobile number, email address, permanent address, and present address cannot be changed. Changing name of either mother or father, category, sub-category, city and medium, qualification including passing year (Class 10 and 12) are allowed to all candidates. Candidates may also be allowed to change/add course. Changing date of birth is allowed only for non-AADHAR verified candidates.
