JEE Main 2023 exam date session 2 is April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15. The exam is held to shortlist candidates for admission to BE/BTech and BArch/BPlan courses at NITs, IIITs, other GFTIs as well for appearing in JEE Advanced 2023. JEE Main admit card 2023 for all registered candidates have been released and can be downloaded from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam starts today

National Testing Agency will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 session 2 exam from today. The exam will be conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, 2023. NTA will conduct the exam in 330 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.

JEE Main admit card 2023 for appearing in the exam has been released. Candidates can download their admit cards online from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and date of birth. Currently, JEE Main 2023 admit cards are available only for candidates having their exams on April 6 and 8. Admit cards for April 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 exams will be released soon.

As per JEE Main 2023 exam pattern released by the NTA, the exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the question paper will have a total of 90 questions, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE Main 2023 paper for BArch and BPlan will have questions from Architecture/Planning, Mathematics and General Aptitude and the total duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Candidates who have opted for both BArch and BPlan will have 3.5 hours to take the exam.

JEE Main 2023 Important Instructions and Guidelines

Candidates appearing in the exam must follow the below-mentioned instructions as released by the NTA

  • Candidates have to carry their JEE Main admit card, valid photo ID proof and one passport size colour photograph to the exam centre
  • Candidates must report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned on their admit cards
  • NO candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam without admit card
  • Candidates belonging to PwD category need to carry their PwD certificate to the exam centre
  • Candidates also need to carry their ball point pen for rough work during the exam 

JEE Main 75% Criteria Bombay High Court Plea

The Bombay High Court will hear the plea challenging JEE Main 75 per cent eligibility criterion today, April 6. As per the Public Interest Litigation (PIL), JEE Main aspirants have asked for 75 per cent and top 20 percentile criteria to be removed or lowered to 50 per cent in this year's entrance exam.
