The NTA has released the official JEE Mains 2023 mock test free online on the website nta.nic.in. Candidates preparing for the exam can practice NTA JEE Main mock tests online for free. JEE Main 2023 will have an equal weightage of 33.3% questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. From each subject, 30 questions will be asked out of which 25 have to be answered.

The NTA has announced the list of cities where the JEE Main 2023 will be conducted. JEE Main 2023 exam will be held in 399 in India and 25 outside India. Candidates must keep the following information and a scanned copy of these documents ready before they start filling out the JEE Main 2023 application form.

• Valid email and mobile number. To receive confirmation and verification messages from NTA, an active email address and mobile number is mandatory.
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates.
• Aadhar card details.
• Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate.
• Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable).
• Scanned copy of PwD certificate (if applicable).
• Details for paying the application fee using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

Step 1- Open the official website

Step 2- Click on the “JEE Main 2023 Registration” link

Step 3- Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration

After the completion of JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration.

Step 4- After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. In this step, candidates have to provide details of educational qualifications, parents' details, address of communication and permanent address, and exam center preference.

Step 5- Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature

Step 6- Pay the application fee

Step 7- The application form will be automatically submitted after successfully paying application fees.

Candidates need to download the filled application form and take its printout. It is advised that candidates keep safe the print copy of the application form until the completion of the admission process.

The registration process for the upcoming JEE Main 2023 session-1 will end today, January 12, 2023. For candidates who are interested in seeking admission to various IITs and universities. The NTA has revised the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2023 after receiving numerous representations from the stakeholders for changing the criteria of 75 percent marks in the Class 12 examination. "For the candidates who qualify for admission in the NITS, IIIT's and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65 per cent in the Class 12 examination," NTA said.

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main Syllabus 2023. Candidates can download the subject-wise JEE Mains 2023 syllabus for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch & BPlan) from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

• Visit the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Select the option that says "New Candidate Registration."
• Complete the registration form with the necessary data, then click on the "submit" button. A login ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile phone or email ID.
• Login using the details provided and fill in all the information asked in the application form. After which the documents and photographs should be scanned and uploaded.
• The next step is to pay the application fee through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.

After the application fees have been successfully paid, the application form will be instantly submitted. The confirmation page or PDF of the completed form will be sent to the candidate’s email ID.
