JEE Main 2023 exam dates clash with Assam Board Class 12 Exams
Class 12 practical exams administered by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be held between January 25 and February 15, 2023, whereas JEE Main 2023 Session 1 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.
As the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 dates, students were left worried since JEE Main 2023 dates are clashing with Assam board Class 12 Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. The Class 12 practical exams administered by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be held between January 25 and February 15, 2023.
As per the NTA exam calendar, JEE Main 2023 Session 1 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023, whereas JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will be held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2023.
Students demand NTA, Education Minister to reschedule JEE Main 2023 dates
Both parents and students are concerned about the clash and less time gap given to students for preparation of exams. They have requested the NTA and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to reschedule the exam date so that students can focus on both exams.
Students took to Twitter to voice their concern. A JEE aspirant wrote, “#JEEMains #jeemainsinapril Respected @anubha1812 This is really a serious issue. Pls address this to @DG_NTA Mam. How we supposed to appear in both simultaneously. And bihar board physics exam is on 1st February. Seriously who decided these dates? @EduMinOfIndia @Official_AISU.”
