Dhruv Sanjay Jain is among the total 20 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main January 2023 session examination in BE/BTech across the country. He shared with us his JEE Main preparation strategy, future plans, and more. 

JEE Main 2023 topper Dhruv Sanjay Jain scored a total of 295 out of 300 marks in the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam.

Dhruv Sanjay Jain from Chattisgarh’s Bilaspur topped the state and is among the total 20 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main January 2023 session examination in BE/B Tech across the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared JEE Main Session 1 results on the night of February 6, 2023.  

Result came as no surprise for JEE Main 2023 topper Dhruv Jain

As per the details shared with Shiksha.com, a student of Brilliant Public School in Bilaspur, Dhruv already had an idea when he calculated his marks from the response sheet and answer key. The top rank in JEE Main did not come as a surprise to him.  

Son of doctors, Dhruv has been preparing for the engineering entrance exam since Class 11. He took coaching for the exam from Aakash institute and also gives credit to the institute and family for scoring well in the exam. Dhruv scored a total of 295 out of 300 marks in the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam. He scored 100 marks each in physics and mathematics and 95 in chemistry.  

JEE Main preparation strategy 

He devoted full time to JEE Main and took only few breaks to relax his mind. He knew that he was better at mathematics and physics than chemistry, so focused on chemistry only in the last few months. According to Dhruv, mock tests and previous year question papers serve as efficient preparatory tools for the exam. He took mocks tests and doubt-clearing sessions on a regular basis to ace JEE Main exam.  

Dhruv is currently preparing for JEE Advanced 2023, which is scheduled to be held on June 4 and aims to study at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
