JEE Main 2024 first session in January, notification by next week with registration and exam dates

As per a senior NTA official, JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The first session will be held in the third week of January while the second session will be conducted in the second week of April. NTA will announce more details by next week on the website nta.ac.in as well as jeemain.nta.nic.in. CUET (UG) will start from the first week of May while NEET (UG) will be held on May 5.

JEE Main 2024, NEET and CUET (UG) dates by next week.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2024 notification by next week with details of registration and exam dates. The first session of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in the third week of January and the second session in April second week, a senior NTA official has informed TOI.

As per the news report, the notification will be released on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in for both sessions. This will be the earliest-ever announcement of JEE Mains dates. For both the sessions of JEE Main, registration will be opened separately.

The NTA official also said that the third edition of CUET (UG) will begin in the first week of May. The National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET-UG) will be conducted on May 5. The notification for all three exams, JEE Mains 2024, CUET (UG), and NEET (UG) will be released anytime by the next week.

NTA conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Architecture, and Planning courses at various NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JEE Mains also serves as the screen test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs.

Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) also conducted by the NTA, is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in various participating universities/institutes. NEET exam is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS courses by the NTA.

Every year around 10 lakh candidates appear in NTA JEE Main and CUET while around 20 lakh candidates take the NEET exam every year.
