JEE Main 2025 Day 1 Exam Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) concluded JEE Main Jan 22 day 1 exam today. Now, candidates who took the exam can check the JEE Mains paper analysis shift 2 based on the student's reaction. Based on student reactions, the shift 2 of JEE Main 2025, the overall difficulty level of the exam was considered to be moderate to tough. As per the students, the Mathematics section was particularly lengthy, requiring more time and effort to complete compared to the other sections. The Physics section was deemed moderate in difficulty, with a mix of straightforward and slightly more challenging questions.
In contrast, the Chemistry section was relatively easier, with most students finding it manageable and less time-consuming. Despite the challenging nature of some parts of the exam, candidates felt that the overall distribution of difficulty was balanced across the subjects.
The JEE Main 2025 Btech, BE paper held on the first day of the January 2025 session comprised of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry paper of 300 marks. As per JEE Main Jan 22 exam analysis, all the subjects had two sections: 1 and 2. While section 1 has 20 multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer, section 2 has 5 numerical-based questions.

The JEE Main 2025 Day 1 Shift 2 exam was considered to be of moderate difficulty. While certain sections were slightly challenging, the paper overall remained within the expected range for a competitive entrance exam like JEE Main. Candidates found a mix of easy, average, and tough questions, offering a balanced assessment of their knowledge.

JEE Main 2025 Day 1 Shift 2 Subject-wise Analysis
- Physics: JEE Main 2025 Day 1 Shift 2 Physics section was considered to be moderate in terms of difficulty. The topics asked were Hyperbola, Ellipse, AP.
- Chemistry: The Chemistry section was slightly on the easier side compared to Physics. The questions were evenly distributed between Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry. Organic Chemistry dominated the section with a couple of moderate difficulty questions.
- Mathematics: Topics such as Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, and Algebra were covered extensively, and some of the questions required multiple steps to solve.
JEE Main 2025 Shift 1 Paper Analysis
In JEE Main 2025, the overall difficulty level was moderate. Students found the Mathematics section challenging, with questions from Statistics, Probability, Vectors and 3D, and Matrices, leading to longer completion times. Many students found the Physics section easy, with questions on Debroglie equations, wavelength, SMR, and Potentiometer. The Chemistry section focused mainly on Organic and Physical Chemistry, with questions on the Mole concept and catalysts.
