JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the image correction window for the JEE Main session 1 today: January 17 at 11:50 pm. Candidates who have received an email/SMS regarding an error in the image uploaded need to re-upload their photograph as per the required specifications by visiting the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Apart from this, NTA has also sent emails/messages to those whose JEE Main 2025 application forms need correction.
To upload the corrected image in JEE Main application form 2025, they must log in using their application number and date of birth. In case of any clarifications, they can call the NTA help desk at 011-40759000/ 011-6922770 or write to jeemain@nta.nic.in. Once the image correction window closes, JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released.
Specifications To Upload Photograph in JEE Main 2025 Application Form
Candidates whose photographs are not as per the specifications must re-upload the image by following the below-mentioned details:
- They must note that the size of the JEE Main photograph should be between 10 and 300 kb.
- The image should be in colour, without a mask, taken against a white background.
- The JEE Main photo should show 80 percent of the face, including the ears.
- The image should be named as 'Photograph' and in JPG/JPEG format.
- Spectacles are allowed only if the candidate uses them regularly.
- Polaroid and computer-generated images are not accepted.
- The photograph should not be attested.
How to re-upload photograph in JEE Main 2025 Application Form?
The official notice states, “Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.” They can check the steps provided below to know how to upload the image of the scanned photograph:
Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA JEE Main: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Now, go to the ‘Registered Candidate Login’ tab
Step 3: Login with Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
Step 4: Click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’ to edit and make changes
Step 5: Now, upload the photograph and save it
