JEE Main 2025 Syllabus: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main syllabus pdf 2025 for sessions 1 and 2. Candidates appearing for the engineering entrance exam can download JEE Main 2025 syllabus pdf for Paper 1 (BTech), Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlan) from the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Mains syllabus Paper 1 is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As per the announced date, the JEE session 1 is scheduled to be conducted from January 22 to 31, 2025 whereas the session 2 will be held from April 1 to 8.

JEE Main 2025 Syllabus

According to the official JEE 2025 syllabus, paper 1 includes topics from classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For Paper 2A (BArch) in Architecture, the syllabus covers Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing. Meanwhile, the syllabus for Paper 2B (BPlan) in Planning includes Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning-specific topics.

The JEE Main Physics syllabus is divided into two sections: Section A, which covers the theoretical portion and carries an 80% weightage in the exam, and Section B, which includes practical components or experimental skills, accounting for the remaining 20%. The topics in the JEE Main 2025 Physics syllabus are drawn from the classes 11 and 12 curricula.

Has any topic been removed from the JEE Main 2025 Syllabus?

The NTA has not removed any topics from the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus PDF. However, last year, several topics were excluded from the JEE Mains syllabus. The topics removed from the JEE Mains syllabus last year include:

• Mathematics: Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning units have been removed. 
• Physics: The communication Device unit has been removed from the syllabus. 
• Chemistry: Surface Chemistry, States of Matter, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, s-block elements, Hydrogen, Environmental Chemistry, Alcohol Phenol and Ether, and Polymers chapters have been removed.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Registration

NTA JEE Main application process 2025 for session 1 has started. Candidates can get the JEE Main registration 2025 link online at the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply online for JEE Main 2025 is November 22, 2024. The application fee is INR 1000 for the unreserved category while for the reserved category, female candidates need to pay INR 800.
