NTA JEE Mains Answer Key 2023 OUT Live Updates: National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2023 answer key. NTA JEE Main answer key download link is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download JEE Mains Answer key 2023 from NTA official website through login using their application number and date of birth/password. 

NTA has first released the provisional JEE answer key 2023 which is also open for challenge. Candidates not satisfied with answers in the provisional JEE Main answer key 2023 can challenge it online. JEE Main 2023 answer key challenge facility is also open from February 2 to 4. 

Along with the answer key, NTA has also release the JEE Main candidate response sheets and question papers. JEE Main 2023 question paper and candidate response sheets is available for download through JEE Main login.

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key Download Steps

Candidates can download their answer key of JEE Mains 2023 by using the following steps

  • Open the NTA JEE Main official website
  • Click on JEE Main answer key 2023
  • Login using your application number and date of birth/password
  • JEE Main answer key 2023 along with response sheet and question paper will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the answer key, response sheets and question paper

To challenge the answer key, candidates need to select the question which is to be challenged after login and pay the challenge fee (INR 200 per question). Once the challenge is submitted, candidates will receive confirmation email on their registered mail ID.

    JEE Main 2023 Answer Key: How to Calculate Score

    Candidates can calculate their probable score using the JEE Main answer key 2023. Students need to follow the below steps to download it:

    • Candidates can use their OMR sheet/JEE Main response sheet to compare the marked responses with the answers given in the JEE Main answer key

    • For correct answers, candidates will be awarded four marks

    • For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted

    • If a candidate didn’t attempt a question, that question will not be evaluated and the candidate will secure zero marks for that particular question

    • Based on this marking scheme, candidates can calculate and get a rough estimate of the total marks they will be securing in JEE Main

    How to Challenge JEE Main 2023 Answer Key?

    The facility to challenge the JEE Main Answer key 2023 is available online. Candidates need to log in on the official website for challenging the answer key and pay a processing fee of INR 200 per question using credit/debit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM service. The fee is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is approved by NTA, the fee will be refunded. The procedure to challenge the answer key is:

    • At the Candidates’ Login Screen, select- “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response”

    How to Challenge JEE Main 2023 Answer Key?

    The facility to challenge the JEE Main Answer key 2023 is available online. Candidates need to log in on the official website for challenging the answer key and pay a processing fee of INR 200 per question using credit/debit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM service. The fee is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is approved by NTA, the fee will be refunded. The procedure to challenge the answer key is:

    • Log in with Application Number and Date of Birth/Password

    • At the Candidates’ Login Screen, select- “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response”

    • For Recorded Response, select Question Number, Recorded Answer, and Claimed Answer. Then, add to the claims list

    • For Answer Key, enter book number, question number, answer, and claimed answer. Then, add to the claims list

    JEE Main 2023 Answer Key: How to Calculate Score

    Candidates can calculate their probable score using the JEE Main answer key 2023. Students need to follow the below steps to download it:

    • Candidates can use their OMR sheet/JEE Main response sheet to compare the marked responses with the answers given in the JEE Main answer key

    • For correct answers, candidates will be awarded four marks

    • For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted

    • If a candidate didn’t attempt a question, that question will not be evaluated and the candidate will secure zero marks for that particular question

    JEE Main 2023 session 1: Over 9 lakh applicants

    Over 9 lakh candidates applied for JEE Main 2023 session 1 including more than 8.6 lakh candidates for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) and over 0.46 lakh candidates for Paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning). Of total candidates in Paper 1, over 6 lakh were male and 2.6 lakh were female whereas in Paper 2, over 25,000 were male and 21,000 were female.
