JEE Main Application Form 2025 releasing soon; check Link, How to apply, fees, documents required
JEE Main application form 2025 will be released soon. NTA will activate the JEE Main 2025 registration link on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check how to fill the application form, fees, direct link to apply and documents required to fill the form. JEE Main application form will be available tentatively from the November first week.
The National Testing Agency will soon release the JEE Main 2025 application form. The tentative JEE Main 2025 application form date is November first week. The application form will be available online on the JEE Main official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The application fees of JEE Main 2025 is INR 1000 for Unreserved male candidates and 900 for female candidates. For male and female candidates belonging to Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL, the fees is INR 900 and INR 800 respectively. JEE Main application fee for CS/ST and PwD male and female candidates is INR 500.

Step 1 Registration Process: The first step in applying for JEE Main is registration. Candidates have to open the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on JEE Main 2025 Registration. Thereafter, candidate needs to select their preferred mode of registration among
- Digi locker
- Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID)
- Indian Passport Number
- Non-Indian Passport Number
- PAN Card Number
- Aadhaar Enrollment Number
Also, candidate needs to select options for Authentication at the Examination Centre while filling the application form. The available options for authentication are
- Authenticate through an Aadhaar Card
- Authenticate through Valid Government ID with a Photograph
After selecting the registration and authentication mode, candidates need to complete the registration by providing their
- Name
- Parents Name
- Date of Birth
- Email ID
- Address
- Password of their choice
The registration form will be submitted after providing the information and the Application Number will be generated. Candidates can continue filling the application form or fill the form at later stage by login using their application number and password.
Step 2 Application Form: The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password or Digi locker ID / ABC ID and their password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 registration date was October 28 to November 22, 2024. JEE Main 2025 application form was available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. As the JEE Mains 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release session 2 application form on January 31, 2025.
Q: What is Aadhar Enrollment Number used in JEE Main Application Form?
Aadhar enrollment number is a unique number which students can find in the acknowledgement receipt received at the time of applying for Aadhar. Students should know that Aadhar enrollment number is not same as Aadhar number. At the time of filling JEE Main application form, candidates have to fill Aadhar Enrollment number and not Aadhar number.
In case candidates do not have Aadhar enrollment number, students can apply through Passport, PAN or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID).
Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, and PwD Certificate/ UDID Card/ Swawlamban Card. The following guidelines should be kept in mind while uploading the documents
- The photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
- The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
- The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in pdf between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible)
Step 3 Fee Payment: After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, and UPI.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.
