JEE Main 2024 Toppers: This time, a total of 23 students have secured the 100 percentile. Telangana has the highest number of 100 percentilers (7), followed by Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Check which states did not make it to the JEE Main 100 percentile list.

JEE Main Toppers List 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main Session 1 result 2024 today. Candidates can check their JEE Main scores online at the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in. Along with the result, the JEE Main toppers list 2024 has also been released. This time, a total of 23 students have achieved the 100 percentile. 

Telangana Shines with 7 Students Scoring 100 Percentile, None from UP and Bihar 

Telangana leads with the most students securing a perfect 100 percentile score (7), with Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan each having three students. Both Delhi and Haryana boast two students with 100 percentiles, while Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka each have one student hitting the top score. Notably, UP and Bihar did not have any students achieving a 100 percentile.

No female Student Secured 100 Percentile in JEE Main Session 1 

Also, there is no female candidate who has got the perfect JEE Main 100 percentile score. Among the state toppers, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from Gujarat stands out as the only one to secure the top position with an NTA score of 99.99.

This year, NTA held the first session of JEE Main 2024 from January 24 to February 1 in which out of the 12,21,615 candidates registering for JEE Main paper 1, as many as 11,70,036 candidates appeared. 

JEE Main 2023 Overall Merit List 

Last year, as many as 43 candidates scored 100 percentile in the overall merit list (based on session 1 and session 2 performance). Among these top scorers, only one female candidate, Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari from Karnataka, secured a perfect percentile. Telangana led the tally with 11 candidates, followed by Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan with five each. Uttar Pradesh had four top scorers, while Gujarat and Karnataka each contributed three. 

Delhi and Maharashtra each had two candidates scoring 100 percentile. The states of Haryana, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh each had one candidate achieving the 100 percentile.
