JEE Main, UPCET 2021: AKTU issues notice for ‘reserved category’ students
The notice states that those issued certificates after March 31, 2021, will be considered valid for the counselling of the UPCET and JEE Main 2021.
The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released an important notification for the counselling of reserved category candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021 and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021. The university has asked students to keep their certificates ready for the counselling process. As per the notice of AKTU, only those students who will produce their ‘reserved category certificate’ at the time of counselling can avail of the benefit.
What the notice says
The AKTU will not consider reservation category certificates issued before March 31, 2021, certificates issued from April 1, 2021, onwards will be considered valid for the counselling process of UPCET 2021 and JEE Main 2021. The AKTU also shared a tweet in this regard. ATKU wrote, “Important information for the reserved category candidates in the admission counseling conducted by the university.”
The university has also asked the candidates who want to appear for the counselling session to keep all requisite certificates ready beforehand. The counselling session will start soon and will be notified by the varsity on the official site of AKTU. Candidates are advised to check the official site of AKTU for more related details.
The UPCET 2021 will be conducted on September 5 and 6. The exams will be held online, with an objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) paper pattern.
The exam is conducted for admission to various graduate and undergraduate courses offered by Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and other specific universities in Uttar Pradesh.
The JEE Main (Session 4) 2021 will be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1 and 2. The exam is conduced for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes across the country. The admit cards of the exam will be released by the National Testing Agency soon.
