JEE Mains 2021 application window OPEN Again! Last date to apply is July 12
The third and fourth sessions for JEE Main 2021 will now be conducted in the month of July and August.
JEE Mains 2021 Applications are available now. Students who couldn't submit their JEE Mains 2021 applications due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation will now be allowed to apply again. JEE Mains 2021 application process begins again for the third session from tonight, July 6 until the night of July 8. Meanwhile, for the Fourth session, the application window is open from July 9 to July 12. The education minister informed that the NTA has decided to give engineering aspirants another opportunity to apply for JEE Mains 2021.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the schedule for the third and fourth sessions of JEE Mains 2021. Earlier, the examination in April was slated to be held on April 27, 28 and 30, and the May session exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2021. However, amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country, the National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed JEE Main exam for April and May sessions. According to the recently announced JEE Mains 2021 dates by the Education Minister, the third session for JEE Mains 2021 will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the fourth session will be conducted from July 27 to August 2, 2021.

Students who couldn't submit their JEE Mains 2021 applications due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation will now be allowed to apply again. The education minister informed that the NTA has decided to give engineering aspirants another opportunity to apply for JEE Mains 2021. However, amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country, the National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed JEE Main exam for April and May sessions. The minister also informed that the Number of exam cities for JEE Main 2021 third and fourth attempt have been increased to 334 from 232. JEE Main exam centres have also been increased to 828 from 660.
In his public announcement, the minister said that the JEE Main was divided into four sessions this year to provide flexibility to the students amid the COVID-19 pandemic." Students will now get multiple chances to improve their performance at the JEE exam. So if a student did not perform well in one attempt, he/she can attempt it three more times in a year," said the education minister.

Over 12 lakh students have already appeared for the JEE Examination and an equal number of students were waiting to appear for the examination. National Testing Agency, NTA was scheduled to conduct the April session on April 27 to 30 while May was scheduled for May 24 - May 27. However, the authorities had to postpone these sessions for JEE Mains 2021 due to the devastating second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
After 3 months, students have finally got an answer on JEE Main 2021 dates. The JEE Main for the previous two attempts was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country. Students had been waiting a long time for this update. Students have been constantly raising concerns on social media platforms over the delay in announcing the exam schedule. Many students took to Twitter to request the NTA to give clarity on the JEE Main 2021 dates for the remaining two sessions.
