JEE Main Registration 2025 - The National Testing Agency has started the JEE Mains 2025 Registration. Candidates can apply from the JEE Main official website. Applicants looking for admission to engineering courses can fill JEE Main application form 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the reports, JEE Main registrations 2025 saw a major drop so far this year. As per reports, around 5.1 lakh candidates have registered so far for the JEE Main 2025 exam. A few factors are responsible for the slow pace of JEE Main registration 2025 this year. The last date to fill JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 is November 22.
Reasons for Slow Pace JEE Main Registration 2025
Aadhaar Verification: Students filling JEE Main application form are facing Aadhar verification issue because of a mismatch in details. Applicants have raised their grievances with NTA for details mismatch. To cater this issue, NTA has now made modifications in the JEE Main registration process to make the application process smooth for students. Applicants have to fill their details as mentioned on the Aadhar card at the time of JEE Main registration verification.
Name Mismatch in Class 10 Certificate and Aadhar Card: There are many students who have their name mismatched in Aadhar card. It is important that candidate name must match with the one mentioned in the Aadhar card and 10th-class certificates. This issue was preventing students from getting registered for JEE Main 2025 exam.
OBC-NCL certificate requirement students: At the time of JEE Main registration, many students are facing issues with OBC-NCL category certificate issue date and issuing authority. As per the pop-up message flashing on applicants screen, the date on category certificate should be on or after date of birth only. There are many students who don't have OBC NCL certificate yet. In this case applicants need to first apply for category certificate to get a fresh one to complete JEE Main registration 2025.
Students looking for admissions are now requesting exam authorities to make some relaxation in JEE Main 2025 registration. Many students have also requested NTA to allow them to submit a declaration form to complete JEE Main registration 2025. Some students have also entered wrong Aadhar number in the form.

At the time of filling JEE Main application form, candidates have to fill Aadhar Enrollment number and not Aadhar number.
In case candidates do not have Aadhar enrollment number, students can apply through Passport, PAN or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID).
The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2025 exam date at the official website. JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from January 22 to 31 while session 2 exam will be conducted from April 1 to 8 in online computer based mode.
