JOSAA mock seat allotment 2020 (second) result today, registration to end tomorrow

JoSAA mock seat allotment 2020: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the second mock seat allotment result today at around 10.00 am on the official website for candidates who filled their choices till October 13. JoSAA conducted two rounds of mock seat allotment before the first allotment result scheduled to be released on October 17.

All registered candidates must log-in with the credentials to check mock seat allotment of JoSAA. The authority will conclude the JoSAA 2020 registration process to participate in the counselling process tomorrow i.e. October 15.

The second mock allotment is based on the choices filled by the students until October 13. The students can make changes in their choices based on the allotment on or before October 15 when the registration and choice filling ends.

JoSAA counselling process is conducted every year for admission of candidates to various IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs among other prominent institutions. Candidates who have qualified the JEE Main and JEE Advanced are only allowed to appear for the JosAA 2020 seat allotment and counselling process.

This year JoSAA admission process has been modified a bit and it will involve six rounds of allotment instead of the usual seven to make up for the lost time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The entire counselling, seat allotment and admission process and related formalities are being online this year. Last year, candidates had to completer all these processes by showing up at the reporting centres.

JoSAA 2020 registration process is mandatory for any qualified candidate interested in joining any of the IITs, NITs, IIITs and Other-GFTIs (within the purview of JoSAA-2020).
