KCET Counselling 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the KCET seat matrix and fee structure of various courses. Candidates participating in the counselling round and planning to get admission to various courses in Karnataka can check KCET course-wise seat matrix and fee structure online at kea.kar.nic.in.
The KCET 2024 course-wise seat matrix and fee structure have been released for the Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Veterinary streams. Through the KCET seat matrix, candidates can check the total number of seats available in the participating institutes.

KCET Option Entry 2024
Earlier, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) extended the KCET 2024 option entry last date. Candidates who are yet to enter the options can complete the KCET option entry at kea.kar.nic.in. They need to login by using their registration number to complete KCET option entry 2024. They can fill in the preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of KCET option entry 2024. Based on the filled choices, the KEA will release the KCET seat allotment 2024 result.

Q: What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?
There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only. Q: How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?
Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side.
Q: How many rounds of KCET counselling will be held?
KCET UGCET counseling is generally conducted in three grounds. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment result after the conclusion of the choice-filling process. The first two grounds of KCET 2024 counseling will be conducted for birth general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However round 3 or round 2 extended will be conducted as per the availability of seats. Candidates have to complete the KCET counseling registration as per the schedule. Only successfully registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the KCET 2025 extended round counseling.
Q: I am not interested in the seat offered during KCET counselling. Can I still participate in further seat allotment rounds without accepting
Yes, you can still participate in the KCET counselling further grounds even if they are allotted seats. Applicants allotted seats can opt for float or sliding option from the login. If you want to get a seat in the same college but a different course then you can choose the slides option. However, if applicants is looking for upgradation in the college allotted then they must float option. If candidates choose freeze option after seat allotment then there is no provisions to participate in the further grounds of counseling.
