KCET Registration 2024: KEA has released a notice stating that candidates whose name, class, and year of study are wrong in the SATS database can get it corrected from the DDPI (Admn) of the respective districts. Check notice pdf here
KCET 2024 Registration: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is accepting the application form of KCET online till February 20, 2024. With this KEA has also issued a notice that states candidates whose name, class or year of study is inaccurate within the SATS database, then the corrective measures need to be taken through the DDPI (Administration) of the relevant districts.
Further actions can then be taken by the guidelines provided by the Department of School Education, for which a copy of the relevant order is provided. The KCET exam 2024 will be held on April 18 and 19, 2024 in offline pen & paper mode. KCET 2024 Kannada language exam will be conducted on April 20, 2024.

Correction in KCET 2024 SATS Database
The notice also states that if a student has completed the class 10th and notices discrepancies in their name or class year within the SMATS software, they are permitted to request corrections. To do so, the student must submit the class 10th mark sheet and the school enrollment register to verify their name, along with the study certificate for validation of the correct class year.
These documents are to be presented at the school level, and the request for modifications will be processed by the District Deputy Director (Administration). This procedure allows for the necessary adjustments to be made in the SATS software.
The District Deputy Director (Administration) has been instructed to review applications for student name corrections using the class 10th mark sheet and school registration number. Additionally, they are responsible for examining applications for corrections of class years within the same school, utilizing the Study Certificate for verification. Upon confirming the authenticity of these documents, the Director is authorised to finalise and approve the corrections for both student names and class years in the school's records.
