KEAM 2024 Exam in May Tentatively; Notification Expected in February

CEE is expected to hold KEAM 2024 exam in May and the application process will start in March. The KEAM 2024 notification containing the KEAM exam date and the complete schedule will be out in February.

The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations will be holding the KEAM 2024 exam in the first week of May 2024, tentatively. As per last year's exam date, KEAM paper 1 and paper 2 will be held on one day and in 2 shifts. The application form was released in the second week of March last year. The KEAM notification is also expected next month.

This year KEAM is expected to have a makeover from an offline entrance exam to an online computer-based test. Preparations are underway to convert KEAM to a CBT. In the latest notification on the official website of CEE, the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has invited sealed quotations for carrying out security auditing of the CBT (Computer Based Test) Entrance Examinations. The Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM) examination is a crucial test for students intending to pursue engineering programs in Kerala. This examination covers the 10+2 level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It comprises two papers, with Paper 1 containing questions from Physics and Chemistry, and Paper 2 containing questions from Mathematics. It is important to note that the KEAM is exclusively held for admission to undergraduate engineering courses. For courses such as medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, architecture, and pharmacy, candidates must participate in KEAM counselling (CAP) with respective national exam scores by filling out the KEAM application form for the year 2024.

As per the eligibility criteria of KEAM 2024, candidates who have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024, can only appear for the entrance exam. There is no relaxation in the minimum age requirement. However, there is no upper age limit to apply for KEAM 2024. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the exam, and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders shall be treated at par with Indian citizens for admission. Candidates who have passed or appearing in 10+2 can apply for KEAM 2024.
