The Mahatma Gandhi University has announced that online registration for single-window admission (CAP) to all its undergraduate degree programmes offered in all its affiliated colleges will begin from July 28. The Mahatama Gandhi University Admission Process 2020 will start at 2 p.m on the date mentioned earlier. Students seeking admission in any of the undergraduate courses offered at the affiliated colleges under the Mahatama Gandhi University can register through the official website of the University, i.e. cap.mgu.ac.in.
This year, owing to the coronavirus pandemic situation in the country, the University will be conducting the admission process entirely online. Students must note that they have to upload a digital copy of the photograph, signature, other documents, and testimonials along with the application. Candidates applying for seats under the Management, Community, and Disability-Sports-Cultural quotas too should register online and are required to submit a copy of the online application submitted through the single window to the respective college. Those from Lakshadweep should apply online and submit a copy to the respective college. The university will publish the provisional rank list of applicants in the Disability-Sports-Cultural quotas. To be able to secure a seat in the UG courses offered by Mahatma Gandhi University, the aspirant must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board with a minimum of 55% marks.
The Mahatama Gandi University offers various UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, and BTech amid others. It imparts multidisciplinary education in disciplines of science, social science, humanities, engineering, technology, legal studies, pedagogy, pharmacy, and nursing. It has launched an online platform to interact with students and address their grievances, known as the Vidhyarthy Samparka Paripady.
