MHT CET Result 2024: Concerns Raised Over Maharashtra CET Scores; Aditya Thackeray Writes to State's CET Cell

MHT CET Result 2024: Following the announcement of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) results for 2024 on cetcell.mahacet.org, numerous students and parents have raised concerns about inaccuracies in the CET percentiles. In response, they have sought assistance from Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray. He has written to the state's CET cell, stating that many parents have reported discrepancies between their children's scores and their MHT CET 2024 percentiles.
MHT CET Result 2024 Evaluation Automated
Additionally, some parents have written to the CET cell about this issue, however, they have been informed that the MHT CET result evaluation process is automated. They were told that the Maharashtra CET percentiles are generated by software without any human intervention, making errors highly unlikely.
Technical Glitch at MHT CET Official Website?
Some students have alleged that, in addition to discrepancies between MHT CET scores and percentiles, there have been other issues with the CET cell website. Parents who met with Thackeray claimed that one student initially saw a 94 percentile on their scorecard, but upon logging in a second time, the result showed 55 percentile, as per TOI reports.
MHT CET 2024 Result
Thirty-seven students, including nine from Mumbai, achieved the 100th percentile in the MHT CET for engineering and pharmacy courses in Maharashtra. The CET cell announced the MHT CET 2024 result expecting a drop in cut-offs due to increased capacity in computer engineering and high demand for AI, machine learning, and cyber security under the National Education Policy (NEP).
