Medhavi Skills University (MSU) and Polaris School of Technology (PST) successfully hosted an orientation session for MSU's prestigious four-year Integrated B.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at VRR Convention Center, Electronic City, Bengaluru. The event featured key leaders from both institutions, emphasizing their commitment to industry-academia integration.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, now an advisor at Polaris, graced the event with his presence. In a conversation with the students, Ganguly shared his insights, emphasising the crucial role of industry-academia collaboration. Drawing on his vast experience, he likened this partnership to a well-balanced cricket team, where practical skills and theoretical knowledge must work in harmony to win. He underscored how bridging the gap between traditional education and real-world industry needs is key to shaping future leaders and innovators.

Representing MSU, Tejash Bagri, Chief of Staff, Chancellor’s Office, and Dr. Lalit Narayan, Dean of Academics & Skill Integration, attended the ceremony, reflecting MSU's leadership in skill-based higher education. From Polaris, Co-founder & COO Bhaswat Agarwal and Co-founder & CEO Mukul Rustagi graced the event, emphasising the innovative and industry-relevant approach to engineering education. The orientation set the tone for a transformative learning experience, blending academic knowledge with hands-on industry training.

BTech Program in AI and ML

This program offers industry-immersive, cutting-edge skill training tailored to meet the growing demands of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Curated by MSU, with PST as the Industry Skilling Partner, the course aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, providing students with advanced learning opportunities.

Students will benefit from a hands-on, practice-driven approach, equipping them with essential industry skills. The curriculum includes immersive experiences in tech hubs like Bangalore and Noida, surrounded by top IT companies. From the third semester onward, students will engage in on-the-job learning, with 5-6 internships throughout the program, ensuring practical exposure and valuable industry insights.

A:

Medhavi University, through nine schools of study, offers UG, certificate, and Diploma courses to students across the Medical Lab Technology, Optometry, and various other streams. Some of these are: 

  • School of Health Science & Technology,
  • School of Management and Commerce,
  • School of Modern Media and Entertainment,
  • School of Applied Science Technology,
  • School of Design

A:

Yes, BSc available at Medhavi Skills University. The university offers Bachelor of Science (BSc) programme at UG level. There are various specialisation available including Radiology and Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Hospitality and Hotel Management, Optometry etc.
To get in to BSc programme, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board.

In addition to this, students will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced IITians, who bring their extensive industry networks and experience with high-growth tech startups, multinational corporations (MNCs), and leading MAANG companies. This mentorship will provide students with the direction and support they need to excel in the dynamic world of AI and ML.

The Integrated B.Tech program has commenced.
