NCVET Recognises HireMee as a Qualified Assessment Agency

HireMee has been recognized by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) as an authorized assessment agency. With this accreditation, HireMee is empowered to evaluate individuals who complete courses provided by any NCVET-acknowledged awarding bodies and possess qualifications that align with and are approved by the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) under government-sponsored schemes.

This accreditation results from a thorough assessment of HireMee's proficiency in delivering AI proctored assessments across IT and non-IT fields, its comprehension of NCVET regulations, and its dedicated team's commitment to compliance. NCVET, which oversees quality standards in Vocational Education and Training, has authorized the Bengaluru-based social enterprise, now in its seventh year, to evaluate candidates possessing NSQF-aligned qualifications it has sanctioned.

“The 5 million people engaged in powering the $250 billion strong Indian IT-ITES industry need to continuously train in emerging technologies to stay relevant. As a NCVET accredited assessment agency HireMee is geared to meet the assessment needs of the industry," says HireMee’s Venkatraman Umakanth.

About HireMee

The HireMee assessment platform is widely used by corporations in India, the Middle East, and the USA for talent acquisition and management, as well as by academic institutions. From its beginning, HireMee has collaborated with close to 7000 AICTE-accredited colleges, the National Career Service of the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, the Tamil Nadu government's Naan Mudhalvan upskilling program, the Karnataka government's Digital Economy Mission, and more than 2000 companies, among other entities.

The HireMee platform has facilitated free assessments for over 690,000 students, leading to interview opportunities with various companies for more than 260,000 students. Notably, around 57% of these job opportunities benefited students from Tier-3 and Tier-4 towns, with almost half of the chances being extended to female candidates.

NCVET is responsible for integrating the fragmented regulatory system and infuse quality assurance across the entire vocational education, training, and skilling value chain. By doing so, it aims to facilitate the availability of highly skilled manpower, improving employability and contributing to the accelerated growth of the Indian economy.
