NIIT Introduces ‘Career Edge Scholarship’ to Empower Final-Year Engineers

NIIT Limited has launched the ‘Career Edge Scholarship’ to support final-semester BE/BTech students. The merit-based scholarship offers enrollment in NIIT’s Full-Stack Development with GenAI Honours Program.

NIIT Limited, a leader in skills and talent development, has launched the ‘Career Edge Scholarship’ to empower final-semester BE/BTech students. This merit-based initiative aims to enhance employability by offering scholarships for enrollment in NIIT’s flagship Full-Stack Development with GenAI Honours Program. The scholarship equips students with in-demand skills in Full-Stack software engineering, integrated with GenAI, bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate demands while alleviating placement uncertainties.

NIIT registrations are open from January 14 to 31, 2025, with the program set to begin by or before February 28, 2025. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to BE/BTech students who have a minimum of 50% aggregate in both 10th and 12th grades, a cumulative score of 50% or higher in the first seven semesters, and no backlogs.

Career Edge Scholarship

This program fosters a blend of technical, engineering, and professional expertise. Through 100+ challenges, 10 projects, and hands-on practice with over 10,000 lines of code, learners gain practical experience in coding, object-oriented programming, databases, and full-stack development. Starting with core concepts, the program advances to building end-to-end web applications using Java, React, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot. Learners also use GenAI tools to enhance workflows, generate test cases, and optimize solutions. Over 34 weeks, the program equips students with the skills needed for high-demand roles such as Software Engineer, Front-end Developer, Back-end Developer, and Full-Stack Developer.

The total fee for the program is INR 1,10,000 + GST. Eligible students are required to pay only INR 10,000 + GST as the admission fee, with the opportunity to receive scholarships of up to 100% based on academic performance and a personal interaction assessment.
