NIT Warangal to hold 21st Convocation on Sept 16

A mandatory rehearsal will be arranged in NITW Auditorium on March 15 2023 at 3 PM. All the Deans, Heads of Departments, and Senators will attend rehearsal. It is mandatory for the students eligible for the award of degrees during the convocation to take part in the rehearsal. 

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal is all set to organise its 21st convocation on September 16, 2023. The Chief Guest will be Padma Bhushan Dr. V.K. Saraswat.

The event will confer degrees to UG, PG and Ph.D. students who have successfully completed the programme and results declared during the period September 2022 to 31st August 2023.

The main ceremony will be in the Auditorium. Institute Roll of Honour Medal winners, Ph.D./PG/UG students will be in attendance in the Auditorium. Parents and guests will be seated in the various venues in the ALC/ Seminar Hall Complex. Proceedings in the Auditorium would be screened live at these venues.

The final seating arrangements will be declared later depending on the number of graduates attending in person. 

All Roll of Honour Gold Medalists will be conferred their medals/degrees in person. The degrees shall be conferred upon the graduands by the Director, Department wise, as the Head of the Department announces the eligibility list. As the name of each programme is called out by the Head of the Department, the respective graduands shall move to the dais in order to receive the degree from the Director. After receiving the medal and certificate, graduands will walk down to return to their seat.

Those who do not attend rehearsal will not be permitted to receive their degree certificate during the convocation function.
