Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) collaborated with the IEEE Delhi Section to host the IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP) 2024, focusing on “Technological Innovations for Socio-economic and Healthcare Causes.” The three-day event featured dignitaries, including Dr. V. Narayanan, Director of ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Er. R. K. Tyagi, Chief Manager of Powergrid, and S. R. Narasimhan, CMD of Grid-India. Senior IEEE members such as Deepak Mathur, IEEE Vice President of Member and Geographic Activities, and Prof. Lance Fung, IEEE Region 10 Director, were also in attendance. The symposium attracted leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in technology.

The symposium began with registration at WelcomHotel, Dwarka, attracting over 300 delegates. The opening ceremony featured keynote speeches from distinguished figures, including Prof. Anand Srivastava and Mr. Deepak Mathur. On the second day at the NSUT campus, the APJ Complex hosted multiple parallel sessions on electronics systems and their future in India’s manufacturing landscape. A mock interview session conducted by academia and industry experts offered students valuable feedback.

The final day highlighted the impact of artificial intelligence on the digital world, featuring a dedicated disaster management workshop for school students. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony and certificate distribution, honouring participants' exceptional contributions. Hands-on workshops and research showcases further enriched the experience, promoting innovation in key areas.

TENSYMP 2024 has reaffirmed NSUT's status as a hub of innovation and excellence in technological research. The conference's success is credited to the visionary leadership of NSUT’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anand Srivastava, and the organizing committee, co-chaired by Prof. Prerna Gaur and Prof. Subrata Mukhopadhyay, alongside Dr. Anuradha Tomar from the event management team. TENSYMP 2024 served as a crucial platform for knowledge exchange and technological advancement.
