NTA Declares JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Result and Toppers; JEE Advanced Registration From April 21
With NTA JEE Main 2024 result announced today, the 100 percentile score holders of the exam have been also announced. 23 candidates have scored 100 percentile in the session 1 exam held on January 27, 29, 30, 21 and February 1. NTA has announced JEE Main 2024 result. The NTA JEE Main 2024 session 1 toppers have been also released. This year in session 1, 23 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile marks. Candidates aiming to get a seat in one of the IITs will have to appear for the second level of admission test which is IIT JEE Advanced 2024.
IIT Madras will hold the IIT JEE Advanced exam on May 26 and the JEE Advaced registrations will begin on April 21. The registrations will be open till April 30. JEE Advanced 2024 results will be announced on June 9 and the JoSAA counselling for IIT, NIT, IIIT and CFTI admission will start on June 10.
Candidates must take note that the NTA JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024 will be dependent on both sessions of JEE Mains 2024. Thus the cutoff cannot be predicted now. However, the expert feels that this year the JEE Mains cutoff for JEE Adavced can be General - 89+, EWS - 78+, OBC - 74+, SC - 44+, and PwD - 0.11+.

JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the JEE Advanced exam, candidates must meet certain criteria. They should have been born on or after October 1, 1999, unless they belong to the SC, ST, or PwD categories, in which case they should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.
Additionally, candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (across all categories) in the BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) 2024. Those who passed their Class 12 exams in 2023 or 2024 are also eligible.
However, candidates who attempted Class XII (or equivalent) exams for the first time in 2022 or earlier are not eligible for JEE (Advanced) 2024, regardless of the subjects attempted.
Each candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years and must not have been previously admitted to an IIT, regardless of acceptance or continuation.
OCI/PIO cardholders who obtained their cards before March 4, 2021, will be considered Indian nationals for IIT seat allocation starting from the academic year 2024-25.
