NTA JEE Main Result Press Release with Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024 Likely Today or Tomorrow
Although NTA has announced the official date for NTA JEE Mains 2024 session 2 result as April 24, many reports suggest the result can be out early. NTA will release the JEE Advanced cutoff with the result press release. Know more details here.
More than 12 lakh candidates registered for JEE Mains 2024 will be able to check their JEE Main 2024 results soon. NTA has announced that JEE Main 2024 result will be out on April 25. However, various reliable reports have been starting that NTA can release the JEE Main 2024 session 2 results by today, April 21 night or tomorrow, April 22 morning.
NTA will release the JEE Main session 2 result press release on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in along with the JEE Main 2024 scorecard under the login. The press release and the scorecard will both carry the JEE Main 2024 cutoff for JEE Advanced. The cutoff will be available as a percentile score. Candidates who score more than the cutoff percentile will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 from April 27. The percentile cutoff will be different for all categories. JEE Advanced 2024 exam date is May 26.
The experts feel that this year the JEE Mains cutoff for JEE Advanced will rise slightly from last year. The cutoff can be: General - 91+, EWS - 76+, OBC - 74+, SC - 55+, ST - 40+ and PwD - 0.11+.

Last year, the JEE Mains cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam was: General - 90.7788642, EWS - 75.6229025, OBC - 73.6114227, SC - 51.9776027, ST - 37.2348772 and PwD - 0.0013527.
The conducting IIT of JEE Advanced 2024, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, has stated that the top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify in the JEE Main 2024 rank list will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Of these candidates, 101250 will be selected from the open category, 25000 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, 67500 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, 37500 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and 18750 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
