IIT BHU: In QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World Ranking Sustainability 2024, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU has obtained the 336th spot globally for its good governance practices. The institute has further distinguished itself by securing the 571st position among universities worldwide, placing within the top 600. This achievement positions IIT BHU as the 13th among Indian universities. 

The criterion of good governance assesses an institution's strength in several key areas: robust governance structures, transparent decision-making, an ethical organizational culture, student involvement in governing bodies, and financial openness. This acknowledgment highlights IIT BHU's dedication to ethical decision-making, fostering an inclusive organizational culture, and maintaining financial transparency.

IIT BHU Secures 503rd Global Rank under Environmental Impact

The institute has secured 503rd global position in the category of Environmental Impact, encompassing environment-focused research, sustainability efforts, employability outcomes, and inclusivity. Its overall standing in the QS World Ranking Sustainability 2024 is 684 worldwide. Notably, this marks the institute's debut in this esteemed sustainability-focused ranking by QS. Among the IITs, the institute claims the 7th spot, further underscoring its remarkable performance.

The institute has maintained a consistent track record of excelling in sustainable and pioneering research, creating innovations that make significant commercial and social contributions. These criteria form the pivotal evaluation parameters within the QS ranking system.
