SASTRA University Admission 2019; Course wise Rank Lists Released

SASTRA University rank lists released for BTech, B.O.Th, BSc and BEd courses. Admission counselling to begin from June 20. 

SASTRA Deemed to be University has released the list of candidates who have secured ranks in the merit based admission process conducted for various professional degree courses offered at the university and SASTRA campus at Thanjavur. The university has released rank list for multiple courses including BTech, B.O.Th, BSc and BEd.

How to check SASTRA University rank list?

Follow the below steps to check the rank list for your respective course:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SASTRA

Step 2: Click on “SASTRA 2019 Rank Lists”

Step 3: Select the course you applied for

Step 4: Enter your Application number or Date of birth and submit

Step 5: The rank list for your selected course will be displayed on the screen  

Admission at SASTRA University is based on ranks secured under two streams:  

Stream 1 (Engineering): This SASTRA rank list is prepared on the basis of normalised XII marks (CGPA converted to percentage) and JEE Main scores calculated with 75% and 25% weightage respectively. Admission will be based on the rank secured by the applicant and against the availability of seats at the time of counselling. Stream 1 has 70% of the total seats.

Stream 2 (Non-Engineering): This SASTRA rank list is prepared on the basis of normalised XII marks (CGPA converted to percentage). Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of SASTRA rank and availability of seats at the time of counselling. Stream 2 has the remaining 30% seats.

Candidates with their names mentioned in the rank list will be able to participate in the counselling process. The merit based transparent counselling for admission to various undergraduate courses will be held from June 20 to June 23, 2019. Candidates can download the counselling letters from the official website of the university using their application number or date of birth.

Candidates should note that the current schedule is for the first round of BTech counselling. The second round will be conducted based on the number of vacant seats after the first round admissions. The dates and details for the second round of counselling will be available from June 23, 2019.
