SRMJEEE 2024 Registration Underway; Check SRM BTech Admission Process, Fees, Scholarships, and Eligibility

SRMJEEE 2024 Registrations are Open
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) has released the SRMJEEE application form 2024. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. The last date to apply for phase 1 is April 13 and the deadline to apply for phase 2 exam is June 15.
The first phase of SRMJEEE 2024 exam will be held on April 19, 20 and 21 while the second phase will be conducted on June 21, 22, and 23. SRMJEEE is a common entrance examination for all institutes and universities under the SRM Group. These institutes and universities are located in Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi NCR Campus at Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana; and SRM University, AP - Andhra Pradesh. Students will be allotted campus and course based on their preference selected at the time of counselling, depending on their SRMJEEE marks and All India Rank, as well as the availability of seats.

SRM BTech Admission Process 2024
To gain admission to SRMIST in any campus and any BTech course, candidates have to appear in SRMJEEE. The admission process includes the following stages:
Step 1: To begin with, aspirants need to register for the SRMJEEE exam if they are eligible. The application fee for SRMJEEE 2024 is INR 1200. The application forms are available online on the official website, srmist.edu.in.
Step 2: Next, applicants have to make the slot booking to appear in the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded after booking the slot.
Step 3: After booking the slots, SRMJEEE admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. To download the same, aspirants will need their application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Then, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam. SRMJEEE is conducted in online mode. Aspirants are advised to follow all the instructions for the remote proctored test.
Step 5: SRMIST will then announce the SRMJEEE scores. SRMJEEE result will be declared on the official website. The result will have a candidate's AIR based on which seats will be allotted to the candidates in the counselling process.
Step 6: Finally, aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for SRMJEEE counselling. The counselling is held online.
Eligibility for SRMIST BTech Admission via SRMJEEE
It will make no sense to apply for SRMJEEE if the candidate is not eligible as the admission will lapse if they are found ineligible. Therefore, candidates must check their eligibility before they apply for the entrance exam:
To be eligible for SRMJEEE, candidates must be either a Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or a holder of a PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India. Additionally, candidates must have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on or before 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held. Moreover, candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics from a recognized board.
