TS PGECET 2024 Second Phase Counselling Starts on Sept 23: Check Dates, Documents, and more

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will start the TS PGECET 2024 Second Phase of web counselling on September 23, 2024 (tomorrow), for GATE/GPAT qualified 2022, 2023, and 2024 candidates. Eligible candidates can check the schedule below and attend the online counselling per the prescribed dates. 

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will start registrations for the second phase (final) TS PGECET 2024 web counselling from September 23, 2024, for GATE/GPAT-qualified candidates. The GATE/GPAT qualified candidates of 2022, 2023, and 2024 and TS PGECET 2024 qualified candidates are informed to attend the counselling as per the schedule below.

Important Instructions for TS PGECET Web Counselling (Phase II)

• Candidates who have attended the certificate verification process in the first phase can directly opt for web exercise options for the second phase counselling as per the schedule. 
• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as imposed by the counselling authorities.
• The leftover seats after allotment for GATE/GPAT candidates are only available to TS PGECET-qualified candidates. 
• Candidates who still need to register or upload certificates can register themselves on the official website of TS PGECET- pgecetadm.tsche.ac.in from September 23 to 27, 2024. 

TS PGECET 2024 Web Counselling Fees

The TS PGECET Second Phase Web Counselling fees are as follows -

• The web counselling fee for SC/ST category candidates is INR 600 and INR 1200 for other category candidates towards the registration cum verification process.
• The processing fee is non-refundable and can be paid online through credit cards, debit cards, or internet banking in favour of “Secretary, TGCHE.”

Who can participate in the second and final counselling phase for TS PGECET?

The following list of applicants are eligible for TSCHE TS PGECET second phase counselling 2024 -

• Candidates who have secured a seat in the first phase of web-based counselling and wish to move to another course/college.
• Candidates who participated in the first phase of web-based counselling and could not secure a seat. 
• Candidates who could not participate in the first phase of counselling.
• Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase of counselling but did not report to the college or pay any fee. 

TS PGECET Counselling: Documents Required at the Time of Registration and Verification

The GATE/GPAT-qualified candidates must upload scanned original certificates for verification. The list of required documents is as follows -

• GATE/GPAT scorecard/TS PGECET 2024 rank card
• SSC passing certificate or it's equivalent with the date of birth mentioned
• Intermediate/ diploma/ 10+2 certificate
• Bonafide certificates from class IX to graduation
• EWS certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate issued after June 2, 2014 (if applicable)
• Latest income certificate on or after January 1, 2024. (if applicable)
• Residence certificate/employer certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Minority certificate (if applicable)

TS PGECET is the Telangana State Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance, a state-level common entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to ME/M.Tech/M.Pharma courses. Candidates qualifying for the exam are enrolled into postgraduate engineering, architecture, technology, and pharmacy courses of their choice in Telangana.
