UTU BTech Admissions 2020: Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, started the registration process for engineering admission for the academic year 2020-21. According to the official information, application forms for both first-year and lateral entry admission is available online on the official website of the university, i.e. uktech.ac.in. Candidates seeking admission in the first year of the engineering degree course (BE./BTech) or lateral entry to direct the second year of B.Tech/B.E. the course can now apply for admission.

Eligible and interested candidates must know that there will be one single round of admission counselling for both first-year and lateral entry admission. The seat which remains vacant after the counselling will be filled through on-spot admission by the respective institutes. The official report suggests that the admission to first year B.E./B.Tech course will be through JEE Main 2020/Class 12 marks while for the lateral entry admission, marks in diploma course will be considered. This year, UKSEE, the entrance exam for admission to the second year B.Tech/lateral entry stand cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
