Vellore Institute of Technology is expected to start the VITEEE 2025 registration process soon. To be registered for the entrance exam and admission process, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the VITEEE 2025 application form online at vit.ac.in. All applications have to be submitted before the final date, which will be announced soon. VITEEE 2025 will be held as a computer-based test at various centres.
What is the VIT eligibility criteria?
Before registration, the candidates are advised to carefully check the official VITEEE eligibility criteria. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission into the participating campuses.
- All candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holders.
- Candidates should have their date of birth on or after July 1, 2003, to be eligible.
- Should have qualified 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
- General category candidates should have secured 60% minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. However, for the reserved category, the minimum aggregate mark required is 50%.

VITEEE 2025 application form will be released online. While filling out the VIT 2025 application form, the candidates will have to fill out their personal, academic and contact details. The application fee of INR 1350 has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.

Q: How can I select my preferred VITEEE exam centres?
Candidates will be able to select their preferred VITEEE exam centres during the application form-filling process. The top 3 VIT exam cities have to be selected and submitted in the order of preference. Candidates are advised to be careful while selecting the order of preference in exam cities, since it will be considered for the allotment of exam centres. For the allotment of VITEEE 2025 exam centres. the authorities will consider the preferences and availability. Once the centres are allotted, the authorities will not accept any requests for changes.
Q: Is there a domicile requirement for VITEEE?
No. There is no domicile requirement for VITEEE. All candidates will be able to apply for the entrance examination, if they have met the basic eligibility criteria. VITEEE is open for all eligible candidates belonging to any state. Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder candidates will also be eligible for admissions.
Q: I missed the VITEEE slot booking date, can I still apply?
No. If the candidates have missed the VITEEE slot booking dates, then they will not given the opportunity to access and complete the process by the authorities. Candidates are advised to be alert and complete the VIT slot booking process within the allotted dates. If the candidates fail to complete their slot booking before the final date, then they will be allotted slots by the authorities as per the details submitted in the application form.
