VP says all Indians stranded in Ukraine will be brought back safely

The government of India is trying to safely evacuate all the Indians stranded in the troubled country Ukraine. Now, the Vice President, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu has expressed confidence that all the Indians who are stuck in Ukraine and waiting for their safe return to India will be brought back home safely as the government is making every effort in that direction.

Venkaiah Naidu says a section of international media spread misinformation

He said that a section of international media runs the disinformation and misinformation campaign against the Indian democracy as certain powers are unable to digest the progress and emergence of India as a powerful nation. India has always believed in peaceful coexistence with other countries, he added.

He said that India is adopting a calibrated approach to international developments keeping in view the country’s national interests. He urged everyone to speak in one voice to protect the country’s interests and not voice anything that will be detrimental to India.

He also added that Prime minister Narendra Modi and the External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had apprised him of the measures being taken to rescue Indians stranded in the war zone.

He also criticised the attempts by some forces to divide the country in the name of caste, creed, region and religion.
