The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) has notified that the FDDI AIST 2022 entrance exam will not be conducted on June 19, as previously scheduled. The institute will release fresh dates for the conduct of the paper-based exam. Also, the last date to fill the FDDI AIST 2022 application form without late fees has been extended to June 10, 2022; the previous last date to fill the form was May 15, 2022.

The FDDI AIST 2022 is an institute-level design entrance exam conducted by the Footwear Design & Development Institute for admitting candidates to its B.Des and M.Des courses.
The institute currently offers admission to the following design courses based on AIST scores:
- B.Des in Footwear Design and Production
- B.Des in Fashion Design
- B.Des in Leather Good and Accessories Design
- M.Des in Footwear Design and Production
The FDDI AIST 2022 exam will be conducted in paper-based mode and will be of 3 hours duration. Questions will be multiple-choice type.
