The decision has been taken by the varsity during the 77th Board of Management (BoM) meeting. The University at present has 14 schools, 12 at the Dwarka campus and two at the newly established East Delhi campus, Surajmal Vihar. The varsity also has one centre of excellence in pharmaceutical sciences at the Dwarka campus.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced that it will build three new schools, namely the School of Liberal Arts, School of Film Making and School of Fire and Industrial Safety. These new schools and centers of excellence will be created in view of the rising demands for trained professionals in these areas, the varsity said in a statement.

It has also decided to upgrade the existing Centre of Disaster Management Studies (CDMS) as a Centre of Excellence in Disaster Management at the same meeting. Meanwhile, GGSIPU has declared the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) 2022 result for BBA programme. All those candidates who appeared for the IPU CET BBA entrance examination can now check their results by visiting the official website; i.e. ipu.ac.in. As many as 19,780 candidates qualified for admission to IPU BBA and allied courses.
IP University held the online computer-based test on June 23, 2022. The varsity has also released the IPU CET BBA merit list consisting of the participation ID, application number and name of applicants shortlisted for the counselling process. Candidates can also search for their names in the IPU CET result PDF by pressing the shortcut (ctrl+f) key.
