The National Testing Agency has conducted the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2022 on April 9. The three-hour duration test has been conducted from 9 am to 12 noon in 121 cities across India. GPAT is the biggest Pharmacy entrance exam for postgraduate (Mpharma) course. Approximately 50,000 candidates take the test every year.

GPAT is a computer based test carrying 125 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The medium of questions in English. Each question carries four answer options and candidates will have to select the correct answer option. The areas from which the questions are asked are as follows Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology, among others.

GPAT 2022 Marking Scheme

Each question carries four marks and for each wrong answer, there is a negative marking of one mark. The table below brings the marking scheme.

The GPAT answer key 2022 is expected to be released in the third week of April. Candidates can challenge the answer keys by paying INR 1,000 per question. Only paid challenges made during stipulated time through key challenge link will be considered. The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then a final answer key will be displayed and declared tentatively in the fourth week of April or the first week of May.
