The Gujarat University will be conducting the online examination for the Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and Education faculties from February 28. While the offline examination will be conducted from March 15.

With the decline in COVID-19 and its variant Omicron, Gujarat University has now released the examination schedule. The Gujarat University will be conducting the online examination for the Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and Education faculties from February 28. While the offline examination will be conducted from March 15.

Gujarat University in an official notification stated that the examination will be conducted for the 50-marks and will be conducted in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. Each question has been given a minute and hence the time duration for the examination will be 50 minutes. However, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. 

The examinations are being held for students of BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, MA, MCom, BEd, MEd, LLB and integrated LLB courses. The University will also conduct the mock test for the students to help students know the format. The mock test will be conducted by the varsity on February 25. Only those students who appear for the mock test will be permitted to appear for the final online examination. The GU said that the detailed program for the offline examination will be declared later.

The GU in its notification stated that for the online examination, the student must have a smartphone with a front camera or a laptop with a front camera or webcam. The university stated that the marks obtained in the 50-mark paper will be scaled up on a pro-rata basis to a base of 70 marks. 
Earlier, the University had given options to students to choose between online and in-person exams, the last date for which was February 10.
