The Gujarat University first semester online examinations will be conducted from February 28 to March 7. Gujarat University will begin the offline examination for first semester exam from March 15. About 50,000 students will be appearing for the offline exams.

Gujarat Exams 2022: As many as 39,000 students of arts, commerce, science and other brached affiliated to Gujarat University will appear for the first semester examination today in online format. The Gujarat University first semester online examinations will be conducted from February 28 to March 7. As per the University officials, four examination sessions will be held each day on the days online examinations will be conducted.

Gujarat University will begin the offline examination for first semester exam from March 15. About 50,000 students will be appearing for the offline exams. These will be held for science, arts, commerce, BBA, BCA, MA, MCom, BEd, MEd and LLB streams.

Gujarat University had earlier given the choice to students to appear for exams in either online or offline mode. When the option was given, 39,000 students had opted for the online exam and 50,000 for offline examination. As per the officials of the examination division, in each of the four online session held on a daily basis, 50 questions will be asked. 

“Each question will carry one mark and will have to be attempted in 50 minutes. One question will be visible on the screen for one minute only. University helplines will remain open if students face problems during the online examination,” officials said.
Students appearing online will have to log in 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination. As per the guidelines released by the University, students have been directed not to leave their seats during the online exam or indulge in any suspicious activity, failing which their exam will be suspended.
