All those who have been verified under the state government's Parivar Pehchan Patra Scheme and has family income is less than 1.80 lakh per annum will be able to avail the facility of free education for their children.
With an aim to ensure no student belonging to a poor family loses a chance to achieve and pursue his/her dreams, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced free education for all those children whose family income is less than 1.80 lakh per year. All those who have been verified under the state government's Parivar Pehchan Patra Scheme and has family income is less than 1.80 lakh per annum will be able to avail the facility of free education for their children, the Chief Minister said.
Chief Minister Khattar had said that the decision has been taken to promote education in the state and to ensure the education of the children belonging to poor families. The announcement was made by the Chief Minister while interacting with the students who have cleared the Civil Service Exam 2020 and JEE Advanced Exam 2021 under super 100 Programme.
While applauding the 29 students coming from a poor background who cleared the JEE Advanced 2021, the Chief Minister said, “All of you are a great example that if you have talent, no one can stop you from achieving your dreams, even if you belong to the poor background.”
“Initially we are going to make an arrangement of imparting education from KG to PG in four universities. While Kurukshetra University has already started preparing for admission to be given under the KG to PG scheme from 2021-22 academic session ,” he added.
The Parivar Pehchan Patra Scheme was launched by the state with the objective of creating authentic, verified and reliable data of all families in Haryana.
