Ashoka University's Climate Corps fellowship programme for working professionals will assist in confounding the critical green skills gap in India.

AshokaX, a unique initiative from Ashoka University and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), are partnering to introduce a Climate Corps Fellowship programme in India to promote the capability of corporations and other institutions in order to train sustainability leaders. Climate change, a serious and critical problem, requires a retort that is exceptional in ambition and reach. For this, enormous growth in green talent is required. The green skills gap is considerable & developing and the Climate Corps Fellowship strives to handle this so India is capable of industrializing without carbonizing.

The President of the Environmental Defense Fund, during the event, said “Environmental Defense Fund is thrilled to partner with Ashoka University to grow the Climate Corps Fellowship programme. Ashoka and EDF share similar approaches to critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation. This partnership will help build the next generation of sustainability talent in India. It is a pivotal step in our vision of realizing a vital earth, for everyone."
