Bharti Airtel Foundation Launches ‘Bharti Airtel Scholarship Programme' to Empower 4000 Students

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Programme to have a total outlay of INR 100+ crore, annually, to empower 4000 students with 100% coverage of college fees for UG/Integrated tech courses in top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges. 

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Scheme

Bharti Airtel Foundation has launched the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program in order to offer financial assistance to students in need. This scholarship programme is a merit-cum-means based Scholarship Programme that aims to offer assistance to 4000 deserving students pursuing Technology-based Engineering UG and integrated programs (up to 5 years) in the top 50 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF -Engineering) colleges, including IITs. The first batch will support 250 students, commemorating 25 years of the Bharti Airtel Foundation. 

Highlights of Bharti Airtel Scholarship Programme  

  • 100% college fee sponsored with a provision of laptop for all scholars
  • Benefits to undergraduate (UG)/Integrated Tech courses in Top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges
  • Students with an annual family income not exceeding INR 8.5 lacs are eligible 
  • Recipients of this scholarship will be known as ‘Bharti Scholars’. 

Students who are eligible for admission in the August 2024 session are eligible to apply for the scholarship programme. Students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, will be given the advantage to get a quality education with the removal of financial barriers. The Bharti Airtel Scholarships will concentrate on UG and integrated courses in the fields of Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, and Emerging Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at the top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges.

Scholars will receive 100% assistance of their college fees along with a laptop. Additionally, hostel and mess fees would be provided to all eligible students who apply for it. Besides, Bharti Scholars will be encouraged to aid at least 1 student continuously, once they graduate & are subsequently gainfully employed.
