BHU Launches 22 New SWAYAM Courses; January 2025 Session Enrollment Ongoing Till Jan 27
BHU SWAYAM courses include programmes from diverse areas including Machine Learning, Ancient Indian Architecture, Income Tax, Gender Studies, Tabla Playing, Research Methodology, HR, Services Marketing, Investment Management and more.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has launched 22 new SWAYAM courses for the January 2025 session by the esteemed faculty of BHU. The SWAYAM courses by BHU cover a diverse range of programmes to offer innovative learning opportunities for students, professionals and lifelong learners. Programmes from Machine Learning to Ancient Indian Architecture; Income Tax to Gender Studies, Tabla Playing, HR, Services Marketing, Research Methodology and Investment Management will be offered for the students.

BHU SWAYAM 2025: How to Apply?
Students have to visit the official website i.e. swayam.gov.in/ini. Once visited, students will have to click on the sign-in/ register tab as displayed on the home screen. The BHU SWAYAM application process is completely online. First time registering candidates have to register online using basic personal details. Afterwards, students have to sign in using their allotted credentials.
The authorities have announced that interested and eligible students can apply online on or before January 27, 2025. However, students are suggested not to wait for BHU SWAYAM application last date 2025 and apply at the earliest possible. The course will begin on January 20, 2025, and will continue between 4 to 12 weeks depending on the programme requirement. The BHU SWAYAM 2025 examination will be conducted on April 25, 2025.

Q: Does BHU accept CUET for BSc (Hons) admission?
Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.
Q: Can a one-year dropper student get admission into BHU?
Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
Moreover, the student can be asked to submit an application regarding the reason for drop out. Sometimes even this is not required.
Q: Does BHU accept admission through CUET?
Yes, Banaras Hindu University is accepting CUET score for multiple UG courses, including BA (Hons), BCom (Hons) BSc (Hons), etc. The university is also offering admission to its PG courses based on merit in CUET-PG. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can register on the BHU admission portal for counselling. The admission is done in order of merit based on the normalised score of the CUET (PG) and reservation policy as per the provisions laid down in the BHU PET Information Brochure.
