The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award 2024: Brunel University London has launched a significant enhancement to its support for academic excellence on a global scale, with the launch of the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award 2024 in September. This new scholarship, valued at £5,000, represents the university's most substantial investment in academic excellence worldwide. 

The scholarship offers a £5,000 deduction in the first-year tuition fees for international students who have received an offer to enroll in a full-time master's program at Brunel University London, located on the western fringe of the UK's capital city, provided they fulfill the criteria set for the award. 

The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award adds to the extensive variety of over 600 scholarships, bursaries, and discounts accessible to Brunel University London's international students, as well as to those from the UK and the European Union.

Who will be eligible for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award 2024? 

As stated on the official website, those meeting the below-mentioned requirements will be eligible for this scholarship: 

• They must have an offer to study on a full-time master’s course at Brunel, starting in September 2024
• They are classed as an overseas fee-paying student
• They have a 2:1 or first-class undergraduate degree, or the equivalent internationally recognised qualification
• They must meet the entry criteria of the course
• They must have paid their course deposit as per the specified date for the award’s deadline of 31 July 2024

Who are not eligible for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award 2024? 

• Those who are not classed as Overseas for fees purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status
• Those who are not fully self-funded and are being sponsored by a Government or external body
• The award is not available to Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil)
• Applicants who will not start their course in September 2024 (2024/25 academic year), this includes deferred entry month and year
• Those entering a course with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) or who are progressing to a Brunel course from an BPC course
• Those who are holding an offer to study by Distance Learning or on a part-time programme or online learning programme
• Those who have previously studied with Brunel University London or those that have been in receipt of a Brunel International Scholarship previously, either as part of current or earlier studies are not eligible

How to apply for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award 2024 for International Master's Students? 

Interested students do not have to fill out any application form, they will be automatically considered as long as they meet their eligibility academic criteria. To be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award They will need to meet all of the conditions by July 31, 2024. Brunel will assess each application.
