Students must note that the varsity has released results for the semester-I examinations in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes. The results are now available online at wbresults.nic.in.
Calcutta University Admission 2024: The University of Calcutta (CU) has declared the undergraduate (UG) semester exams results. Students who appeared for the Semester Exams can now check their CU Semester Results 2024 online by visiting its official website, i.e. wbresults.nic.in.
Students must note that the varsity has released results for the semester-I examinations in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes.
How to download Calcutta University results 2024?
Along with the Calcutta University Semester-I results, the varsity has also released the results for the 5th semester of BA and BSc courses and the 2nd semester of various undergraduate programmes.
Students may check and download the Calcutta University Semester Results 2024 by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Go to the official website of Calcutta University Results at wbresults.nic.in.
- On the homepage, navigate and click on the link that reads, 'B.A./B.Sc. Semester-I (Honours/ General/ Major) Examinations, 2023 (Under CBCS).'
- In the input fields, enter roll number in the designated field.
- Verify the details and click on submit.
- Calcutta University Semester Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Save a copy of the Calcutta University Semester Result.
Students must note that the results published online are provisional in nature. Students are required to collect their original marksheet from the varsity as and when available.

Meanwhile, for BTech admissions, Calcutta University has revised its Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admission process. Students seeking admission to BTech courses must note that the enrolment will now take place through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) rankings. Earlier, the varsity had reserved 40% of seats for science graduates who didn't need to take the JEE. Meanwhile, a limited number of students from specific BSc programs can still enter the third semester via the Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (JELET).
